SET REVENUE GOAL

  2. Plan 2023 (set specific revenue goal for this year)
  3. Estimate the next 3-4 years (set a realistic goal)

SET YOUR SALES GOAL according to sources (your contract awards)

  2. Prime directly
  3. Subcontract under a Large Prime

ESTABLISH YOUR CORE COMPETENCIES

  1. Hyper-focus | Sell one thing specifically (not everything) Become known as the SME on that exactly competency  to become a trusted vendor
  2. Pursue "Slam Dunk Opportunities"

TARGET A SINGLE PRIMARY AGENCY

DEVELOP STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIPS (proactively!)

  1. Government agency buyers
  2. Teaming Partners
  3. OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer firms if this is your space; also applies to tech specialities like  SharePoint, Microsoft and third party suppliers)
